In 1994, armed with his 30 years experience in the crane & heavy equipment business, Cecil Barrett started a sole proprietorship that offered OSHA compliant Annual Inspections on Mobile and Overhead Cranes.
Through dedicated customers, hard work and typical business growing pains, 25 years later Cecil Barrett Crane Inspections, Inc. has grown to offer a wide range of equipment services.
CBCI, Inc. is equipped with a 4,000 SF facility dedicated solely for operator training.
So whether its equipment inspections, operator training, crane repair or an overhead crane system furnished and installed, CBCI is certain our company’s services will be beneficial to your company’s equipment and/or training needs
Thank you for your interest in operator equipment training. CBCI provides customized operator training based on your Company’s specific needs. Training courses can vary in length based on operator’s experience and your Company requirements.
Each training course is offered at your site utilizing your equipment during any ‘hands-on’ sections of the operator training. Upon successfully completing any operator training, operators will receive a certificate for office files and a laminated wallet card for each operator.
CBCI strongly encourages all employers to have their operators attend training sessions on at least a yearly basis. At CBCI, we believe a frequently trained operator helps lead to safer jobsites and workplaces.

Our expert Technicians have years of experience with backgrounds in electrical, structural, repair/service and most importantly operating. Thus, ensuring our customers can be confident in the inspection process. We adhere to the latest Federal and State agency guidelines to provide inspections that satisfy these regulations. If deficiencies are discovered during inspections, customers will receive a detailed report noting each deficiency.
